Good things come in little packages.
I inherited these photos from the Hannam family in New Zealand, but unfortunately many of them aren't named.

My grandmother started genealogy research shortly after I was born. She spent the next 50 years writing letters, driving across the country to cemeteries, libraries, wherever the research took her (even to Scotland!).
Special thanks for my very talented granddaughter for narrating this story.
When half your family lives over 6K miles away, you don't just drop over for a visit. But everyday life is just the same when together - a snuggle, a bath, creates connection and memories.
The classic 4-generation picture is priceless. This is the only one(s) we have as my grandmother Inez (Ashelford) Joslin passed shortly after having met Megumi Voight. Photo includes Inez, Beverly Joslin-Voight-Kluge, Janice Voight-Witt, Megumi Voight.
This video tells about the educational experiences of Philip Macon in high school, university, and medical school using personal photos and yearbook pages.
My father Philip was born into the segregated south. His best friend and brother from another mother was Harold, the son of Philip's nanny. However, once the boys started school, they were separated and never allowed to be friends again simply because of their race.
This is my family of great grandparents, the photo was faded to the point it was almost impossible to see, now you can see the people in the photo and it was wonderful to see these faces which I was really interested in seeing. This is a wonderful product for the future generations to see the past generations.
Having never met either of my grandfathers, my grandmothers were an important part of my life. They were always there for me - especially at important events and times of the year (we did not live nearby).
And then there's mom - truly an angel - to me and to others. Giving her love as a nurse - and to her own family.
