My dad often recounted what his dad told him – of the joy he felt when seeing Lady Liberty in New York Harbor, having traveled from Germany, at 16-years-old, weighing 100-pounds, in the early 1900’s.
Whenever I think about this story, it brings back memories of people and events that have shaped my life – and inspires me to shape others’ lives, positively.
